Rookie Team Equipment Grant

Equipment grants are available to support rookie teams.

  • FIRST LEGO League: We are committed to helping all new teams secure robots for the 2026–27 BIOGLOW season.
  • FIRST Tech Challenge: A limited number of control systems are available and may be awarded as grants to rookie teams for the 2026–27 BIOBUZZ season.

Teams must be affiliated with an Adventist organization (e.g., church, school, Pathfinder club, etc.).

We have limited equipment grants available for this season. Here is how it works.

  1. Request a grant using this form.
  2. Receive approval.
  3. Register your team with FIRST
  4. Sign the agreement.
  5. We will ship you the equipment.
  6. We will send you an invoice for the cost of the equipment due in April of 2027. When you participate in an Adventist Robotics tournament, your invoice will be canceled. If you do not participate in the tournament, you will be responsible for the cost of the equipment.

You must be affiliated with an Adventist organization (church, school, Pathfinder club, etc.) to be eligible for this grant. Grants are limited while supplies last. We expect to provide Spike Prime kits to all rookie teams that need them this season under the terms of this grant. If you have a Spike Prime kit that you are not using, please consider sharing it to sponsor a new team in your area!
